Active X Control
This module enables Internet Explorer 4.0 or later to receive a live feed from the Wellborn Corridor. On the left is a block for each sensor station along the corridor. Information is color coded as follows:

  • GREEN denotes a "CLEAR" Indication and an online station
  • YELLOW indicates the Station is Offline
  • RED denotes a Train is Detected at the site
  • ORANGE denotes Preempt Active but train is not at the sensor

Other information:

  • ETA denotes the Estimated Time of Arrival at the site in seconds
  • ETD denotes the Estimated Time of Departure at the site in seconds
  • Speed indicates the current measured or estimated speed of the train in miles per hour
  • Length indicates the length of the train in feet
  • Update denotes the last time your monitor has been updated. The update rate is 20 seconds for a clear corridor, 2 seconds when a train is detected. The Update box can be clicked to force an update.
  • Moving Bar denotes the time since the last update. If the bar is not moving REFRESH your page
The map and boxes on the right represent a scale view of the corridor with North at the top and South at the bottom. Box color represents status of each sensor site.

Active X Control
This module is Real Player® Ral Player Icon. It enables motion video from the George Bush intersection to be displayed. The controls work just like a VCR. The arrow button starts the video, the vertical bars stops video. Right clicking on the video window brings up additional controls. For best results, select "Preferences" then "Connection". Select "Buffer at least 0 seconds". Select the appropriate bandwidth for your network connection.

NOTE: the video is delayed and will NOT follow the events shown on the train monitor. The amount of delay is variable but 15 seconds is reasonable estimate. If you are experiencing trouble getting video try refreshing the page.
