It is designed for Microsoft® Internet Explorer v. 4 and higher, for Netscape Navigator® v. 4 and higher, and for Netscape® Communicator v. 4 and higher. With other browsers or with earlier versions of the previously named browsers, you may have unpredictable results. We test primarily on an Intel® architecture with a Microsoft® Windows platform.

The TransLink® Research Center maintains this site as a public service. The following is the privacy policy for all pages that start from and include the home page. We are a public, not-for-profit organization associated with the Texas A&M University System and are an agency of the State of Texas.

When you browse the site, you do so anonymously. Personal information, such as e-mail address, is not collected. We might need to obtain information about the kind of computer, the operating system, and kind of browser you're using. This information comes from your browser and helps us in our efforts to build a web site that accomodates the diversity of computing resources that people use. No such information is kept when using the CD-ROM version.

If you browse the site, we log the Internet (IP) address of your computer or of the Web servers through which you travel. This helps us to know what parts of the site are most popular. By statistically analyzing this data, it helps us to make a better and more useful site for everyone. We don't associate anything personally identifiable about you to an IP address on the server unless such information must be made available in compliance with law enforcement investigations or other legal proceedings.

As online web page functionality changes, we might use cookies to store information. A cookie is text that a web server sends to your browser. When using a Web page, information is stored into this text, and this might include such data as a list of pages visited, date of last visit, or identification of your session at the site. It does not take data from your hard drive, does not contain viruses, and does not record your e-mail address. We might use cookies to provide features such as a page personalized for your use.
