User Interface

The current version of the user interface is shown below. This application is a "thin client" that receives a data stream from the rail monitor server. The data stream contains all the information about to corridor to represent its status. The client is updated every 20 seconds when there is no activity in the corridor and every 2 seconds when an event is declared. The application has also been compiled into an ActiveX control for software portability. ActiveX controls can easily be inserted in other ActiveX enabled applications such as Internet Explorer.
